  • Do I need pervious experience making jewellery?

Not at all! There is a small capacity for the classes which allows Constance to give 1:1 guidance to everyone in the class. The time allows for all different abilities, everyone will leave the class with a ring they are proud of.

  • Can I come if I do have experience making jewellery/working with metal?

Absolutely. The workshop is a welcoming space to make something special and connect with others. Any expertise you bring will be appreciated by myself and your fellow classmates.

  • I have a disability which I’m worried will prevent me from taking part. Can I come?

Yes. If you have any additional needs please reach out to Constance ahead of the class and she will ensure changes are made to accommodate you. The classes are intended to show how accessible metalwork can be and this extends to all abilities.

  • Can I reserve places before tickets go on sale?

No, ticket releases will be shares on instagram and via the newsletter a few days before sales open. Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis.

  • I can’t find anyone to come with me, will I be okay if I come alone?

Don’t worry - people frequently attend the classes alone and are quickly welcomed by fellow attendees and Constance. The class is a sociable activity and chatting and laughing is encouraged!

  • What do we make?

Check out the Personalised Rings on the shop to see what we make. You’ll learn to size, form, texture, solder, shape and polish your own 925 sterling silver ring. The skills learned in this workshop are exactly the practices Constance used when teaching herself basic silversmithing four years ago.
